Time/logical bomb
A time/logical bomb is a computer program that is activated after a certain period of time or after a goal is met (like after certain keystrokes of the computer keyboard).
Time/logical bombs are considered as malicious softwares and could have destructing and unwanted effects on computer systems and should be removed immediately after detection.
It might be hard to detect source of these malwares because of the time lag between infection and activation of the software.
