TCP (Transfer Control Protocol)
TCP is a communications protocol that acts as a control and compensation mechanism to ensure data packets reach the destination computer in intact form.
TCP provides mechanisms to check data packets after reaching the target computer.
New data packets are requested by TCP installed on receiving computer if a packet is missed or damaged, and the packet is resent by sending computer subsequently.
