JPEG
JPEG is a digital format for image files.
JPEG is a compression format and is used to compress digital images to produce files that are much smaller in size, thus saving storage space on storage mediums and also resulting in faster uploads and downloads.
JPEG format is used extensively in digital photography and nearly all digital cameras are capable of saving images in this format.
