Computer worm
A computer worm is a malware that is able to reproduce after infecting a computer and is capable of spreading through a computer network and can infect other computers this way.
Unlike viruses that attach to computer files and can't have any stand-alone activity, worms can reproduce and run independently and don't need to bind computer files.
Worms could crash computers by replicating very fast and using system resources extremely.
